NYPD arrests an innocent man

normally dont double post but this was just too crazy not to comment on, if you have the extra 5 minutes watch this video. as the info states, he was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. this whole thing just seems very unnecessary, but tell me what you think in the comments.

  1. Crazy stuff happens, I still don't understand what happened that resulted into the cops coming. So the NYPD cruisers also consist of vans? thats crazy.

  7. Its way to easy for cops to abuse their power with the current system. We need to find a way to make them more accountable

  8. I don't know if he's really innocent, we don't know what happened outside the camera, and we can't tell what is being said. I do see him showing some erratic body language, definitely makes cops nervous to see that. Combined with some harsh language I could easily see it as a worthwhile arrest. They didn't just feel like arresting someone, they had a reason. You don't have this many copy around just cause they're bored.

  12. I think the guy also wasn't smart about how he was acting, but the cops definitely overstepped here, completely unnecessary.

  13. The main flaw with police in general is that their word is taken at a higher standard than the average citizen. Any matter that comes down to a cop observing a crime and where the only 'evidence' is the cop's testimony should result in a dismissed case.

  14. Most of the time whenever I see someone who says, "guy was arrested for nothing" it's always something like, "Yeah, I was mindin' my own business smokin a fuck ton of weed and pushin' old ladies when the pigs came up and arrested me! The fuck?!"

But this...I don't even understand why they got the kid on the bike. This is just ridiculous. Seems like a riddle or one of those find-its.
